Last night Shanie hit the stage at Westfield Stratford Vue Cinema to host the October edition of ‘Your Cinema’.

Your cinema was created as a new way for future generations to watch films that directly reflect both their lives and also their culture.

By partnering with some of the UK’s largest film organisations  ‘Your Cinema’ has also been designed to grow and develop the careers of the best up and coming filmmakers and actors through national screenings as well as their online networks.

For those who haven’t attended a Your Cinema screening before every quarter they showcase 4 short independent films up on the big screen, then Shanie hosts an intimate interview followed by an industry Q&A with a special guest.

In the past she has interviewed some of the best UK actors some of whom have taken Hollywood by storm including Daniel Kaluuya, Ashley Walters, Noel Clarke to name a few. Yesterday she sat down with Identity Agency Group & The Identity School of Acting founder Femi Oguns MBE to talk all things acting and all about how he ended up becoming an agent and she also invited Damson Idris the latest British actor to take Hollywood by storm up for a quick chat as well.

Keep an eye on www.youtube.com/ShanieRyan for the full interview.
