Shanie attends the premiere for “Daddy’s Home 2” in Leicester Square.

 16th November 2017

Event: Daddys Home 2 movie premiere

#HASHTAG: #DaddysHome2

Location: Vue Cinema Leicester Square, London.

Goodie Bag
: No goodie bag

Celeb Watch
: Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, Will Ferrell, John Lithgow, X Factor 2017 cast, Love Island Cast, Talia Storm, Olivia Cox, Lauren Pope, Naomi Isted & Hayley Sparkes.

Event Highlight
:: Seeing Mark Wahlberg & Will Ferrell Introduce the film whilst of course cracking lots of jokes with the audience.

What am I wearing? Dress by Lipsy London, Shoes by Michael Kors, Bag by New Look.

Make Up: Doll 10 cosmetics, Urban Decay, Mac, SmashBox, NYX, New Look, Laura Geller, Kiko Cosmetics.

Style Note: This dress was the perfect length and colour for a winter premiere. The rich jewel toned navy blue shade is the ideal winter shade to stand out in a crowd and worked perfectly against the bright red carpet and christmas tree themed backdrop. It rained terribly on the day and was freezing cold but because the dress was full length it felt like it provided the appropriate amount of coverage whilst still being a little sassy and sexy with the sheer bust and neck detailing and the leg split on the skirt. This dress comes from Lipsy’s Michelle Keegan collaboration and I really felt that it oozed glamour and elegance whilst still being sexy and showing the right amount of skin for a winter premiere.

STYLE DIARY: SHANIE ATTENDS THE GO GLAM GALA…

19th January 2017
Event: Go Send’s Go Glam Gala
#HASHTAG: #GoGlamGala
Location: Queen Elizabeth Exhibition Centre, London.

Goodie Bag: There were several goodie bag stands at the event but I was to busy chatting away so I missed out on the treats.

Celeb Watch: Blogging queens Lydia E Millen, I am Chouquette, Maddie Bruce, The Glow Edit, Lewis Duncan Weedon,
Event Highlight: Seeing myself in the movie & celebrating with my fellow cast members.
What am I wearing? Dress by Peggy Hartanto (Take ii PR), Shoes by Zara, Bag & Earrings by New Look Fashion.

Make Up: Doll 10 cosmetics, Urban Decay, Mac, SmashBox & NYX, Art Deco, Bobby Brown, MakeUp Forever, Sleek MakeUp, New Look Beauty, Nars

Hair: Seed Salon, Fulham

Style Note: This is the second of Peggy Hartanto’s stunning creations that I have had the pleasure of wearing to an event. The sapphire blue shade is absolute perfection and would suit any skin tone. The sheer panels keep the dress flirty and sexy despite the elegant mid length skirt. I chose to enhance the colour of the dress further by adding this gorgeous New Look Fashion Blue velvet bag with gold detail and then to enhance the luxurious texture of the satin fabric I opted for equally silky satin mustard court shoes from Zara. A simple yellow gold bangle finished off the look and I received nothing but compliments on my ensemble from the gorgeous blogging crowd.

Thank you to Take ii PR.

Style Note: Choosing the right dress for the occasion was so stressful! I got in touch with many PR companies in a bid to secure the right dress last minute, I felt like I had no time to get myself organised and because of this I felt I had little options.  But it was a blessing as this dress was perfect for the occasion and I maybe wouldn’t have chosen it from the hanger and tried it on should I of had tonnes & tonnes of options… it was different! A one of a kind dress, in an unexpected colour combination with deep navy and lime blocks of colour , so comfortable with pockets none the less it’s a high end designer and it ooozes ‘classy’. I felt like I really channelled a modern and way cooler version of Audrey Hepburn’s style and glamour with my own 2016 twist. I finished the look with a classic hair up look but again introducing a modern edge to it by adding braids into the style. With the make up I went natural and glowy.
