
Shanie was recently invited to appear on BBC’s ‘Victoria Derbyshire Live’ a BAFTA award winning weekday current affairs programme. Shanie was invited on the show to discuss survivors and victims of terror and the lack of government support for victims after a traumatic events such as the recent Manchester Bombings & also the London Bridge terror attack. Shanie is a survivor of the 2005 7/7 bombings and after 10 years of silence she has recently spoken out about both her personal journey as a terrorism survivor as well as her quest to help other survivors get some support with the likes of overcoming PSTD (Post traumatic stress disorder).
